We read what politicians actually say and do — parliamentary speeches, recorded divisions, and their own published words (official sites, verified social) — and code every position they take: which claim, for or against, when, in their words.
A position is a dated event, never a label: people change their minds, and the record shows the change with both quotes. When someone with a known record takes a new role, that is a signal — and the briefing says so, carefully: facts are sourced, forward-looking lines say “may”, never “will”.
